Hearing and learning about the opinions and views of all pupils matters a lot to us here at Chinley School.
Meetings are held regularly and each class has a suggestion box which the School Council members monitor and use to bring ideas to meetings. Ideas and suggestions are discussed and School Council decide which ideas should be implemented. School Council are often involved in planning whole-school fundraising events such as Red Nose Day. They also meet with important people who come to visit our school. Minutes are taken during the meetings and members share these minutes with their class to ensure the rest of the school knows what is being decided at meetings.
