Chinley Primary School Classes
On behalf of the staff and Governors I would like to welcome you to Chinley School. Here at Chinley we believe that every learner should be given the best opportunity possible to follow their interests and dreams, whatever they may be. Our strength lies in the care which we try to give to every child and with the way in which the children care for and support one another.
Reception
Hello and welcome to the Reception class page. Our teacher is Mrs Cawthorn and our teaching assistants are Mrs Pritchard and Mrs Blackmore Ms Walker teaches us every Thursday afternoon.
Class 1
Hello and welcome to Class 1 The class 1 teacher is Miss Daley and the teaching assistant is Mrs Esposito. Mrs Witham will teach us on Thursday mornings too.
Class 2
Hello and welcome to the Class 2 page. The teachers in Class 2 are Miss Todd and Mr Turner. Miss Todd teaches the class on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mr Turner teaches the class on a Tuesday. Mrs Sweeney and Mrs Leonard are the teaching assistants in Class 2.
Class 3
In Class 3 we work hard on a range of topics and activities across the curriculum. We enjoy using the outdoor environment as much as possible to enhance our topics.
Class 4
Hello and welcome to Class 4’s page. Our teachers are Mrs Deaville and Mr Turner, our teaching assistants are Mrs Colton and Mrs Leonard. Mrs Colton also teaches us on a Thursday afternoon, supported by Mrs Leonard.
Class 5
In Class 5 we study three main topics: Epic Explorers and Antarctica in the Autumn term, Anglo Saxons, Vikings and 1066 in Spring term, and Earth and Space in the Summer term.
Class 6
We are taught by Mrs Taylor with Mr Turner teaching Science on a Wednesday afternoon each week.
